We’re over the moon to introduce the Thorpe Farm Racing Club, an exciting new way to enjoy point-to-point racing from the inside. It doesn’t matter if you’re brand new to the sport or a seasoned racegoer, clubs like this one are wonderful ways to spend time with like-minded people and enjoy the thrills of a season following a yard and their horses.
Our members get access to a team of four point-to-pointers trained by Tommy and Amy Fife here at Thorpe Farm Rehab & Fitness, just outside Northallerton. From yard visits to owners’ badges, social events to live race-day action, it’s a brilliant way to enjoy the thrill of racehorse ownership without the cost and commitment of going it alone.
What’s included?
Joining the Racing Club gives you access to the full string of racehorses to follow and a host of perks, including:
- Owners’ badges on race days
- Organised yard visits and meet-the-horse sessions
- Two socials to look forward to: one at Christmas and one at the end of the season

At just £800 + VAT for the full year (which runs from the 1st of September 2025 to the 31st of August 2026), it’s excellent value and the perfect way to enjoy a season of sport, camaraderie and – we hope – a few celebrations in the winner’s enclosure!
Q&A: your questions answered!
Q: Do I own a share in the horses?
A: This is a racing club, not a syndicate, which means you don’t own a share in the horses, but instead enjoy access to the full string and all the fun that goes with it.
Q: Will I get prize money?
A: No, as this is a club model rather than ownership, members don’t receive prize money. But you will get bragging rights, insider updates and a chance to follow the thrills of a full season with a great team!
Q: How do I get race badges?
A: You’ll be invited to apply for owners’ badges whenever a club horse is declared to run. If demand is high, they’ll be fairly allocated on a rota or ballot system.
Q: Can I bring a guest?
A: It depends on the situation! We welcome one guest per racing club member for socials and yard visits, and you can bring them along on race days, when space allows.
Q: Where will the horses run?
A: Most of our entries will be running at point-to-points in Yorkshire as well as the North of England and Scotland, so you can look forward to some great days out!
